Just before 1400hrs, RIT 2 was dispatched to the 400blk of Mitchell Rd in Newport for a Mobile Home Fire. The Truck w/4 responded. Chief 10 arrived with smoke showing. The Truck arrived sending its manpower forwards, and split crew to go to the roof for ventilation, as well as to assist with fire attack and overhaul. The Truck crew operated for about an hour before going available.

While on the fire, the Utility and Traffic handled a Pole/Wires Arching call in the 100blk Cove Rd.
