On Monday, October 14, 2024 the Duncannon Fire Company placed into service our new 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500HD, which is designated as Utility 2. This piece of apparatus is responsible for handling smaller scaled incidents such as service calls and medical calls. Utility 2 carries a variety of equipment ranging including saws, medical equipment, brush gear, and hazmat spill equipment.

We would like to thank with Bill with Turner Chevrolet for working with us through purchasing the 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500HD, Swab Wagon Company for getting us the upper portion of the cab painted white, Reaction Graffix for the Lettering, and B. Moyer Radio Communication's for the Lighting, Siren, and Radio installation. Also thank you to Deputy Chief Bryan Worner for being the head of the project, and coordinating everything throughout the process.

Shortly after placing the new Utility into service, it was dispatched for its first call in the 400blk of New Bloomfield Rd for a wire down across the roadway.
